How can I have a positive impact on culture in my school?

How can you have a positive impact on culture in your school?
Let’s now move from other people’s situations to your own. What is the culture like in your school? In what ways, if any, would you like it to be different?

Download and read this PDF list of cultural descriptors.

Your task

  1. Which of the cultural descriptors resonate with the culture of your school? Reflect on what your school culture currently is.
  2. Choose three descriptors you want your school to strive for.
  3. Enter them in to our cohort word cloud (after submitting your three descriptors, enter your email to have the word cloud emailed to you).
  4. What could you do or implement to begin working towards it? For example, your school might be lacking in extra-curricular activities. What could you do to change that and how would you ensure lasting change?
  5. Share your ideas in the comments below and respond to your peers’ posts if you can offer advice on achieving their goals.
