The aim of this course is to support you to empower and energise teams. You’ll consider the significance of energy and empowerment and how this translates into achieving optimal team performance.

Throughout this four-week course, you’ll delve into the important role that managers, supervisors, and team leaders play in setting the tone for their team’s culture and performance, whilst being realistic about facing potential setbacks and challenges along the way.

What will you learn?

Upon successful completion of this course, you should be able to:

  • describe the benefits of empowered and energised teams for organisations and individuals
  • explain the role of motivation theory in creating energised and empowered teams
  • explain strengths-based development techniques/tools
  • identify ways to position employees in the organisation to capitalise on their talents and strengths.

What’s this course about?

This course offers you the opportunity to consider the importance of energy and empowerment in achieving a high-performing team. Managers, supervisors, and team leaders play an important role in setting the tone for their team’s culture and performance. There are strategies they can employ to harness motivation, talent, and capabilities within their team to drive performance and achieve results. This doesn’t mean the team won’t face challenges and setbacks, but if they feel energised to come up with solutions and empowered to implement those solutions, they will be better able to deal with those obstacles quickly and constructively.

We’ll help you understand the value of empowered and energised teams and how they can fit into your organisation. We’ll also give you some tools to cultivate and foster them in your own organisation.
