How to use 了 at the end of a sentence indicating a change

了 used at the end can indicate the changes. Today we will learn how to say "I am getting better" in Chinese.

Language points

“了”used at the end of declarative sentence, it indicates a change in the situation or the occurrence of a new situation.

For example:

这个苹果是绿色的。

现在呢?苹果红了。

他怎么样?很高兴。

现在呢?

他不高兴了。

Dialogue 1

朋友:我听说你身体不舒服,怎么了?

小丽:前几天有点儿发烧,现在好多了。

朋友:喝杯茶吧,这是我为你买的绿茶,很不错。

小丽:谢谢,我要吃药,不喝茶了。

朋友:那喝杯水吧。

小丽:好的。
