What have we learned?

Watch Nuria, a learner of English, give her top three things she has learned in the 'Inside IELTS' course from Cambridge English Language Assessment.
Well done! You have just about completed the course. I hope you enjoyed it. And I hope it will help you to keep studying and improving for the IELTS and beyond. I’ve learned so much in this course. I’d like to share my top three things with you. Firstly, I’m glad I learned how writing and speaking examiners will assess me. This will help me a lot in the future, because I can try to find ways to make my own speaking and writing better. Secondly, I thought it was really interesting to see how IELTS is relevant to university. I want to use my time the best way I can.
So if I can prepare for IELTS and I can prepare to use English at the university at the same time, that’s great. Finally, it helped me get a much better idea of what my strengths and weaknesses are. I don’t mean just something general like I’m better at reading than speaking, but something more specific. For example, I know that my general vocabulary is not bad when I’m speaking, but I need more academic vocabulary for my writing and reading. And I know I have to work on planning my writing so it’s organised better. So what have you learned in this course? Tell us by typing a comment below. Finally, I’d like to say thank you for your time and effort.
And I wish you the best of luck in your future studies. See you.
In this video, Nuria talks about her ‘top three’ things she has learned on the Inside IELTS course. What are your top three?
Tell us in the comments below. As Nuria said, try to be as specific as possible.
Then find other learners who have a similar top three – or a completely different top three – and reply to them.
