Mindfulness of the Mind to Help with Stress and Anxiety

Video by Colette Savage on how mindfulness can help with stress and anxiety.

Anxiety and stress are often caused by how we are thinking about a situation, we think ourselves into anxiety/stress. We often cannot think ourselves out of this easily, but we can learn to interrupt the anxious or stressful thoughts, to release the mind from the grip of anxiety or stress. Getting into a calmer mindset can often open up ideas, solutions or just let our minds rest from the anxiety or stressful thoughts.

In this video Colette Savage from the School of Education explains how mindfulness of the mind can help with anxiety/stress by taking a step back from our thoughts.
