Summary of the week

You are nearing the end of the first week of this short course. Over the period we have looked at what public health is and your role in it.

• examined factors that influence health and wellbeing
• identified why nurses need to change how they work to improve future health and wellbeing
• reflected on the knowledge and skills you bring to public health and what being involved in public health will mean for your professional development
