Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is very hard to treat. Compulsive actions decrease the anxiety and tension that you feel for a short period of time, but in the end they only make it worse. Because you repeat the compulsions over and over again, these actions become more and more a fixed habit that is harder and harder to get rid of. That’s why it often goes from bad to worse.

If you feel you are stuck in your compulsions or obsessions, seek professional help. Do not wait for too long; the sooner you seek help to get rid of your problems, the better the result.
