It is about HRM and Technology or Information Technology. I will bring you to the field of e-HRM that keeps me enthusiastic for more than twenty years. This field was born here in this university in 2004. Of course, several manuscripts were published before that, but the research field with its vocabulary, with its community and with its research goals was born here. Even five years ago, we couldn’t think of including electronic HRM courses in the curriculum. And still not all universities have HRM and Technology courses in their curriculum.

In this module, you will learn about the historical steps and developments of electronic HRM and the TOP model. About the definition of e-HRM and you will learn how to orchestrate the music of electronic HRM.


Prof. dr. Tanya Bondarouk is professor of HRM and Technology at the University of Twente. She is recognized as one of the founders of the new research area of HRM & Technology and published over a hundred articles about different aspects of an integration of HRM and Information Technology Implementations. In this video, Tanya introduces you to already the last session of this MOOC series.
