Create your example content calendar

.

Now that you are familiar with how to use a social media content calendar, you are encouraged to submit an example one-day social media calendar plan for a brand or organisation with which you are familiar, for peer grading.

Assignment requirements

For this assignment you should first download the template at the bottom of this step, and complete the following sections for a brand or organisation of your choice.

  • Social network
  • Time
  • Content type
  • Sample social copy
  • Character count

You can feel free to leave the other fields blank, or complete them, according to your preference. You only need to provide a short sample for the social copy – for example, if you include a blog post, draft the introductory paragraph.

Your second task will be to explain your thinking behind the detail of your content plan. You should include what led you to choose the social networks, and the content types, that you have included. On the next step, you will be prompted to respond to this in a free text box, as well as to submit your document.

Criteria for peer grades

Below is a list of criteria which will be used to peer grade assignments:

Content: Were the five sections listed above completed?

Variety: Has a variety of content types been selected across different channels?

Clarity: Was the rationale behind the content choices clearly explained?
