Skip to 0 minutes and 12 seconds In this video we will show you how to prepare a recipe that showcases many features of the Mediterranean diet, the Greek salad. Though it’s called a salad and is quick to prepare, it works well as a main course. We will prepare a salad for four people.

Skip to 0 minutes and 28 seconds The ingredients are: 150 grams of red tomatoes, 150 grams of cucumber, 70 grams of Greek olives, One red onion, 200 grams of feta cheese, oregano, salt and extra virgin olive oil to taste. First of all, chop the tomato into small cubes. Peel the cucumber and chop it to the same dimensions as the tomato. Cut the onions. Do the same with the feta cheese. Place the vegetables in a bowl and add the feta. Then, add the black olives, oregano, salt (not too much because the feta is already very salty) and, of course, some extra virgin olive oil. We recommend that you serve the salad with some slices of bread to make it a more complete meal.

Skip to 1 minute and 34 seconds As you can see, it’s fresh and easy to prepare. Buon appetito!
