Accessing support: A guide

In this step we are providing a guide to the different sources of support available to you as an innovator. The guide revisits local support, but also expands this to the regional and national level. Although many of the examples given are specific to the UK, there will be similar organisations available in your own country. Spend some time exploring the guide considering the most appropriate sources of support for your innovation.

The Mind map is available in the Downloads section below.

Here are the sources of support in the Mind map diagram:

[1] NHS England
[2] NIHR
[3] Health Foundation
[4] Academic Health Science Networks
[5] Small Business Research Initiative
[6] British In Vitro Diagnostics Association
[7] Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry
[8] Association of British Healthcare Industry
[9] Health Education England
[10] NICE

Reflect on the innovation you proposed in Week 1. Use the comments section to post your thoughts on where you can source support, both financial and otherwise. Include links to appropriate organisations in your own country.
