Skip to 0 minutes and 0 seconds Hopefully you’ve enjoyed week two and are ready to plan and teach your first pre teach sessions. Remember to observe the learners in class lessons after the pre teach sessions and reflect on your observations in your journal. In week 3 we will explore assigning competence in depth and prepare you to use this strategy in lessons.

Plan and teach a short pre-teaching session

Following the great learning you’ve done this week, we’d like to you to plan a short pre-teaching session, and teach the session to your learners.

Make notes in your journal on any changes to learner’s participation in the lessons following any pre-teach sessions – what do you observe?

If you have time, try and do more than one pre-teaching session to gain as much experience and reflection.

Comment and share below on any significant changes that you noticed both with your learners, and your own pre-teaching.
