Adam Smith Center

The Adam Smith Center is an independent, non-profit organisation in Singapore dedicated to economics and public policy education. We are firmly embedded in a global network of scholars, think tanks and educational organisations. Through our partnerships and collaborations, we engage in policy research and conduct academic lectures, seminars and workshops on major topics of interest.

At our core, we believe that ideas matter. The climate of ideas today shapes the policies and practices of tomorrow. That is why we are passionate about communicating the merits of a society based on individual self-responsibility, the rule of law, free exchange and socio-cultural openness.

In building up our repository of FutureLearn courses, we hope to deliver captivating content from prominent scholars in their respective fields of specialisation. We also seek to empower learners with interdisciplinary knowledge and analytical skills to address the most daunting societal problems afflicting the world today.
