About

USQ is dedicated to providing quality study programs across all study levels to students around the world.

Established as a university in 1992, it has delivered high quality programs to students from over 110 countries and is now ranked in the top three per cent of universities worldwide. USQ is a comprehensive and research intensive regional university that operates from three campuses (Toowoomba, Springfield and Ipswich), The Queensland College of Wine Tourism (Stanthorpe) and through trusted national and international education partners. Importantly, USQ recognises that most people lead busy lives. The university was one of Australia’s first to offer online education and today 75 per cent of students study online.

Its academics are engaged with their fields as industry professionals and integrate real-world knowhow with teaching and learning expertise. Additionally, the university has strong connections to industries relevant to its study areas and delivers programs that provide students with access to practical workplace integrated learning and internships. USQ also maintains strong support from the communities where its campuses are located.

USQ has scored five stars for employability and internationalisation (QS Stars rankings, 2019) and is Australia’s No. 1 university for the highest graduate starting salary (Good Universities Guide 2018-20).
